Guarapachanga is RCR’s new 1st Saturday monthly Cuban dance party in OAKLAND.

The venue is the main ballroom at the Lake Merritt Dance Center (same location as our weekly Monday classes), which is a PERFECT venue for dancing — lots of space, beautiful decor, amazing hardwood dance floor, free parking.

Our first party in February was a hit and so we’re throwing a similar party in March, cover is just $15, including a dance class, live music, and two DJs. Here’s the schedule:

7:00pm Doors Open
7:30pm Multi-Level Cuban Dance Class (no additional charge)
8:30pm DJ JuanLove
9:30pm Live Son con Timba with Son Chévere
10:30pm DJ Ritmo

The building is owned by the City of Oakland so we are required to vacate by midnight.

Please bring food or drinks to share, but remember there is ABSOLUTELY NO FOOD OR DRINK IN THE BALLROOM — be sure to keep all food and drink (including water) out in the lobby.
