In honor of Issac Delgado’s birthday and the 30th anniversary of his first solo album (Dando La Hora), this September is Issac Delgado Month! Issac has an extensive discography, and we’ll be featuring four of his songs (one per week) over the course of the month:

1st Weekend (Friday 9/4, Sunday 9/6, Monday 9/7): La Sangunguita on La Primera Noche (1998)

2nd Weekend (Friday 9/11, Sunday 9/13, Monday 9/14): Con La Punta Del Pie on Exclusivo Para Cuba (1997)

3rd Weekend (Friday 9/18, Sunday 9/20, Monday 9/21): La Fórmula on La Fórmula (2001)

4th Weekend (Friday 9/25, Sunday 9/27, Monday 9/28): Timba Cubana on Made in Habana (2016)

These songs will be featured in our Salsa Suelta Classes, both online on FB Live and In-Person:

And we’ll be looking at these songs in-depth in our weekly online FB Live Timba Listening Class on Mondays at 7:30pm.
