We are very excited to be hosting this special two-hour workshop with Salsa Cubana Documentary co-creator Eric Johnson. Before it was ever called “salsa,” the dance that we do was known as “casino,” named after the original venue it was danced in, El Casino Deportivo de la Habana. Eric is a longtime student of Cuban Casino, having frequently visited Cuba to study and dance since the mid-90s. In this workshop he will review some of the material he taught at his previous “Secrets of Casino” class before covering new material — details, techniques and nuances of the real Cuban social dance.
Pre-requisites: participants must already know ALL moves from Levels 1 and 2 from our curriculum.
The workshop will be held inside at the MNC (362 Capp St) — masks (while indoors) and proof of booster are still required as per our RCR Salsa Classes Safety Guidelines (click to read).

This two-hour-long workshop will be offered on a sliding scale — $40, $30, or $20. When you check out, you can enter either 25OFF or 50OFF as codes to receive 25% or 50% discounts.
We WILL still be offering our regular classes at Level 1 (1:30pm) and Level 2 (2:30pm) at the same time. Eric's workshop will replace the Level 3 and 4 classes that we usually hold on Sundays.
